When I began Ming-Kahuna twenty years ago it all started with the Pocket Model. Soon thereafter came the Table Model with the same basic shape but longer utilizing the whole bar of material. When deciding how to use it I chose a shape that would use the whole bar with zero waste. It’s an expensive material and I despise waste. More importantly the shape would best show off the stunning pattern. Much like working with wood the grain/pattern often dictates the shape.
And what a pattern Matrix offers. It has everything going for it from wonderful earth tones to surprising depth. And, on the practical side, it will be a great fit in most any sized bowl. Art that works.
Table Model in Matrix will come nestled in a Neil Flancbaum created buckskin leather pouch.
