When I returned back to the shop after my hiatus I wanted my first piece to be one with a very well defined shape that would give me an indication of where my hands were at. I found myself quite pleased. This was the second model of Ming twenty-two years ago and one that I don’t do often. Cuda was the first material of Ming. It’s going to be a great fit in any bowl that I can imagine and a pleasure to hold. When I finished carving this piece I knew that everything was going to be okay.
Includes a black buckskin leather pouch by Neil Flancbaum.
