To get this shape one really needs to hold it in their hand. It seems simple but it is far from symmetrical and more than a bit unpredictable at a glance. I chose a briar tamper end for this one. I do a number of materials for tamp ends (brass, aluminum, sterling silver, briar) and briar is very popular. It looks especially good with greens and blues which is right up Serpent’s alley. Overall this is an unusual piece and I’m glad that I allowed it to be. Includes a black buckskin leather pouch by Neil Flancbaum.
